West Ham United forward Viviane Asseyi has signed a new two-year deal with the club.
WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Hammers this afternoon.
The 32-year-old attacker joined West Ham United from FC Bayern Munich in summer 2022. Asseyi has gone on to make 108 appearances for the East Londoners in all competitions in which she has scored 32 goals.
Asseyi is a key player for The Hammers and the club have therefore moved to retain her services for two more years.
After signing on again with West Ham United, Asseyi said “I’m really happy to sign a new contract with West Ham United. I feel at home here, I love the Club and my family loves the Club, so for me it was an easy decision to continue my journey here.
“I want to play somewhere where I feel valued and where I can help the team to achieve more. West Ham has given me so much over the last four years and I want to continue giving everything back to the Club.
“I’m so proud to have made more than 100 appearances and I want to keep adding my name to the history of the Club. I’m really excited about this team and what we can achieve together, and hopefully we can create many more special moments for our fans.”
Further West Ham United squad news will be announced in due course.
