Cape Verde, however, refused to surrender and produced a stunning response in the 103rd minute when Sidny Lopes Cabral collected a pass and slammed a powerful strike into the top right corner from distance to make it 2-2.Messi continued to dictate play and almost restored Argentinas lead in the 105+1 minute, but Vozinha again stood firm to make an easy save in a one-on-one situation.The breakthrough finally came in the 111th minute when Messi took over corner duties and found Cristian Romero, who rose highest to head into the right side of the goal and seal a 3-2 win for Argentina.
