Eleven Wonders will look to revive their fading survival hopes when they face Vision FC at the Swedru Stadium on Friday in a crucial Ghana Premier League encounter at the bottom end of the table.
The returnees’ struggles worsened after a heavy 3-0 defeat to Young Apostles in Wenchi, their third straight loss and eighth defeat in the last 10 matches. With just nine points from 21 games, Eleven Wonders sit bottom of the standings and own the league’s weakest numbers, the fewest goals scored, 14, the most conceded, 35, and only two wins all season. Those victories came at home, offering a slim source of encouragement as they attempt to end a three-match losing run.
Vision FC, meanwhile, arrive in better form despite hovering only one point above the drop zone. They have lost just once in their last six league matches, recording two wins and three draws. Their fighting 2-2 comeback against Dreams FC last time out underlined their growing resilience.
The Tema-based side are also unbeaten in their last three away fixtures, a sharp contrast to Eleven Wonders’ home struggles, having lost four of their previous five there. Vision will seek to extend that run and complete a league double over their hosts.
