Chelsea boss Calum McFarlane has made five changes to his starting XI to face Liverpool, including handing Levi Colwill his first start of the season.
The centre-back has been out of action for eight months after suffering a serious knee ligament injury in pre-season.
Colwill made his first of appearance of the campaign on Monday when he came off the bench at halftime of their 3-1 defeat to Nottingham Forest.
