Nukunu Sports Academy have secured promotion to the Ghana Division One League after edging Oti Warriors 1-0 in a tense Middle League playoff clash on Sunday.
The victory capped off a remarkable season for the ambitious academy side, whose consistency, defensive solidity, and attacking efficiency proved too much for their opponents throughout the campaign.
The “Wonder Boys” now take their place among Ghana’s second-tier clubs after an outstanding run that saw them dominate at every stage of competition.
Nukunu’s journey to promotion was built on an impressive league campaign where they won 12 of their 14 matches, drawing one and losing just once.
They scored 20 goals while conceding only two, finishing as league champions and establishing themselves as one of the most formidable teams in the competition.
