The race to sign highly-rated Vision FC midfielder Meshack Adjetey Sowah is intensifying, with Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak and ambitious side FC Samartex both pushing strongly to secure his services.The 21-year-old midfielder has established himself as one of the standout performers in the Ghana Premier League since joining Vision FC in September 2024.Sowah has made 25 appearances this season, clocking 2,186 minutes of action.Sowah has shown his quality on the big stage, scoring against Hearts of Oak in a 1-1 draw earlier this season and netting the decisive goal in Vision FC’s victory over Aduana FC. He was also named in the Black Galaxies squad for a friendly against Heart of Lions in April.Hearts of Oak have been actively pursuing the midfielder, viewing him as a valuable addition to their squad. The Phobians are keen to strengthen their midfield options ahead of the 2026/27 season and believe Sowah possesses the quality to make an immediate impact.However, they face stiff competition from FC Samartex, who have also expressed strong interest in signing the midfielder. The Timber Giants have identified Sowah as a key transfer target following his impressive performances for Vision FC.Newly appointed Samartex head coach Nana Kweku Agyemang has been linked with a push to recruit the player, having previously recommended Sowah to the club.
