
Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku has highlighted improvements in matchday operations and television coverage as part of efforts to enhance the experience around Ghanas domestic football competitions.Speaking on Thursday at the 32nd Ordinary Session of the GFA Congress at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram, Okraku said the association had strengthened its matchday protocols to improve safety, organisation and the overall experience for players, officials, supporters and commercial partners.According to the GFA president, the measures are helping create a better environment at domestic football matches while also making the competitions more attractive to audiences.We have strengthened our matchday protocols to improve safety, organisation, and the overall experience for players, officials, supporters, and our commercial partners, Okraku said.He pointed to effective live television broadcasts, which he believes has significantly increased the visibility and appeal of Ghanas domestic competitions.Okraku said the improved broadcast coverage is helping bring Ghana football closer to fans across the country and beyond, potentially expanding the reach of the domestic game and creating greater exposure for clubs, players and sponsors.
