Asante Kotoko midfielder Hubert Gyau and Aduana FC forward Seidu Saana have both been charged by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) over their conduct during the pre-match formalities of Sundays Ghana Premier League clash.According to the GFAs latest update on regulatory actions for the 2026/27 season, the two players have each been charged with a breach of Article 34(6)(d) of the Ghana Premier League Regulations, 2025.The GFA alleges that both players behaved in a manner that was improper, unsporting and brought the game into disrepute during the pre-match formalities.Gyau and Saana were seen remaining on the touchline and delaying before joining their respective teammates for the pre-match formalities.The incident occurred before the league encounter between Asante Kotoko and Aduana FC at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, a match that ended in a 2-0 victory for the visitors.Aduana took an early lead through Stephen Amankona before playing the majority of the second half with 10 men following Raymond Agyemangs dismissal. Seidu Saana later sealed the victory with a late goal on the counter-attack.The GFA has given Gyau and Saana until Wednesday, September 30, 2026, to respond to their respective charges.The latest disciplinary action comes alongside a separate charge against Asante Kotoko over the conduct of some of their supporters, who allegedly threw objects onto the pitch after the match.
