The reigning Austrian Cup champions will officially begin their defense.
George Bello and LASK take on Kalsdorf on Saturday in their season-opening match of the 2026-27 season. Bello played a key role for the domestic double winners last season, logging 33 appearances, three goals and four assists.
The former Atlanta United homegrown defender has continued to be one of the top fullbacks/wingbacks in the Austrian Bundesliga, teaming up with fellow American Sam Adeniran. Adeniran scored a career-best 15 goals for the club en route to helping LASK win the league title and Austrian Cup.
Heading into his fourth season with LASK, Bello will seek a strong start to his schedule while LASK seeks a winning start to theirs.
Elsewhere, Alex Zendejas and Club America take on Atlante in Liga MX play while Danny Leyva and Necaxa face Monterrey. Diego Kochen seeks to make his competitive debut with Lyngby in Danish league play. Matthew Hoppe and Sonderjyske take on Midtjylland.
