Asante Kotoko board chairman James Osei Brown has urged the clubs players to put last seasons disappointing campaign behind them and embrace a fresh start.The Porcupine Warriors endured a difficult 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season, finishing eighth as their ambitions of challenging for major honours failed to materialise.With the club now preparing for the new campaign, Brown says everyone involved must approach the season with renewed determination.We all know that the last season we couldnt get what we wanted. We did the best we could but the result is not what we wanted. But we are having a new beginning.Brown made the comments during a visit to the clubs pre-season camp in Accra, where he addressed the players alongside other board and management members.Kotoko have made several changes to their squad and technical structure as they seek to build a stronger side for the upcoming season.The chairman called on the players to focus on the future rather than dwell on last seasons shortcomings.I want us to forget about the past and lets focus. Lets be determined.He also challenged the players to match the commitment being shown by the clubs leadership as preparations continue.Join me with the kind of effort we are building, the board and everyone that is putting in. Put the same effort, step by step, each match after each match.Brown added that Kotokos objective must be to win every match, urging the players to believe in themselves.But our focus is that every time that we meet, were going to win.
