Chelsea will play their 2026/2027 home domestic cup fixtures and UEFA Women’s Champions League ties in the league phase at AFC Wimbledon’s Cherry Red Records Stadium.
The Blues announced the news via a post on their official club website this morning.
Chelsea will stage all of their Barclays Women’s Super League fixtures at Stamford Bridge but they have opted to use the Cherry Red Records Stadium as a secondary venue given the complex fixture schedules for the men’s, women’s and academy teams. The move sees Chelsea end their time at Kingsmeadow with the club having outgrown that facility.
After this morning’s news was announced, Chelsea FC Women’s business operations director, Nadia Shahrestani said “We are delighted that from next season we will be playing league phase cup fixtures at the fantastic Cherry Red Records Stadium. While Stamford Bridge is our home, we want to ensure that our alternative venue is inclusive, convenient, as well as being fully compliant with all competition regulations.
“We look forward to creating some special memories at the ground with our incredible fans and would like to thank AFC Wimbledon for all their support.”
Should Chelsea advance to the UEFA Women’s Champions League’s knockout phase, those matches would be staged at Stamford Bridge.
