Christian Pulisic signs AC Milan extension until June 2031

Christian Pulisic has committed his future to AC Milan into the next decade.

AC Milan has signed Pulisic to a multi-year contract extension until June 2031, the Serie A club announced Friday. AC Milan’s held an option to extend Pulisic’s current deal through the 2027-28 campaign but instead has tied him down long-term.

“Pulisic’s contract extension reflects a shared commitment to building on the progress made together in recent years, with the ambition to keep improving, achieve new milestones and write more memorable chapters in the Club’s history,” a club statement read.

The 28-year-old made the move to Italy ahead of the 2023-24 season and has been influential for the Rossoneri since his arrival. Pulisic has tallied 44 goals and 28 assists in 141 appearances for the Rossoneri, winning the Italian Super Cup during his second season.

Pulisic most recently scored his second goal this season in Milan’s 2-0 road win over Udinese last weekend. He has tallied two goals and one assist in eight appearances across all competitions.

The Pennsylvania native has amassed over 400 senior appearances at club level, beginning his career with Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund before eventually moving to Chelsea and lifting a UEFA Champions League crown there.

With the U.S. Men’s National Team, Pulisic has totaled 33 goals and 23 appearances in 90 caps. He remains a key leader in Mauricio Pochettino’s squad going forward into the 2030 World Cup cycle.

AC Milan will seek a bounce-back Serie A result on Saturday when they face off with rivals Inter.
