CoinPoker Presents High Stakes Poker’s Return to PokerGO

CoinPoker is heading to one of poker’s most famous stages. High Stakes Poker returns live to PokerGO for seven straight days from August 25-31, and CoinPoker is the presenting sponsor for the whole week of broadcasts from the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas.

A Full Week of Live High Stakes Poker, Presented by CoinPoker

This marks the first time PokerGO has run High Stakes Poker live for seven consecutive days, streaming daily from Las Vegas starting August 25.

PokerGO CEO Brent Hanks said the week is about bringing together the biggest personalities and highest stakes in the game. He also noted that a full week of live coverage is something the show has never attempted before, and pointed to CoinPoker’s role as presenting sponsor as a big part of making the week special for fans.

High Stakes Poker has always been about bringing together the biggest personalities and highest stakes in the game,” said Hanks. “Seven straight days of live High Stakes Poker is something we’ve never done before, and we’re excited to have CoinPoker alongside us as presenting sponsor as we deliver what should be an incredible week of action for poker fans.”

CoinPoker’s branding will run throughout the broadcast and the promotional content around it, putting the platform in front of a huge poker audience for the full week.

Andrew Robl, Alejandro Lococo, and Rick Salomon Set to Feature

The lineup announced so far includes high-stakes regular Andrew Robl, CoinPoker ambassador Alejandro Lococo, and Rick Salomon, with more names expected to be confirmed before the week starts.

Having Lococo at the table gives CoinPoker a presence in the actual games being played, not just around the edges of the broadcast.

Broadcast times and any further additions to the field should be confirmed closer to the August 25 start date.

A Big Few Weeks for CoinPoker

The PokerGO sponsorship lands right in the middle of a packed stretch for CoinPoker. Battle of Malta Online just wrapped after paying out more than $35 million and setting a new concurrent player record for the platform.

CoinPoker’s Daily Dollar tournament launched earlier this month, giving players a $1 buy-in shot at a $1,000 guarantee every day, rising to $5,000 on Sundays.

The Global Online Poker Championship begins August 23, just two days before the High Stakes Poker week kicks off, with a $50 million guarantee running through the series.

CoinPoker’s 3-Bet Club membership also launches August 17, adding extra rewards and cheaper tournament buy-ins for anyone who wants a bit more from their regular play.

Between the PokerGO sponsorship, the GOPC launch, and the tail end of Battle of Malta’s record-breaking run, CoinPoker is closing out August in style.
