Dani Olmo has no intention of leaving Barcelona despite recent reports linking the Spain international with Arsenal, Chelsea and clubs in the Saudi Pro League.
Olmo has been the subject of transfer speculation ahead of the January window, with intermediaries reportedly sounding out Premier League clubs about his availability. However, the latest information suggests the 28-year-old remains fully committed to Barcelona.
According to CaughtOffside, Olmo was already attracting interest from Saudi clubs during the summer but did not enter into discussions because of his desire to remain at Camp Nou. He is also considered an important part of Hansi Flick’s plans.
That directly contradicts recent reports suggesting Barcelona could consider moving Olmo on to raise funds. TEAMtalk reported last month that intermediaries had contacted Arsenal and other Premier League clubs regarding a potential January deal, although there had been no formal approaches.

The latest report, however, says there have been no contacts between Olmo and Arsenal or Chelsea, despite claims that the midfielder could be offered to either club.
Olmo joined Barcelona from RB Leipzig in 2024 and signed a contract running until June 2030. The club’s official profile continues to describe him as a versatile attacking player capable of operating in midfield or across the forward line.
He has made seven La Liga appearances this season, providing three assists, although five of those outings have come from the bench.
For now, there is little indication that Olmo is preparing for a January exit. While Barcelona may need to consider player sales elsewhere in the squad, the latest reporting suggests Olmo is not currently viewed as a likely departure.
