CoinPoker’s Global Online Poker Championship is only a few days old, and it’s already delivering big results. The GOPC launched August 23 and runs through September 28, and the opening days have brought a High Roller champion, a huge cash for a two-time WSOP bracelet winner, and live discounts for 3-Bet Club members.
The Global Online Poker Championship Kicks Off With $50 Million on the Line
The Global Online Poker Championship is a 37-day festival split across three regions, carrying more than 700 Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medal Events.
The headline numbers include a $3 million guaranteed Main Event at a $530 buy-in, a $1 million Global Main at $55, and a $250,000 Mini Main at just $11. Another $350,000 is available through Regional Leaderboards, the Podium Race, and Bankroll Boosts.

Jesse Lonis Wins the High Roller Opening Ceremony
Jesse Lonis, who plays under the name DangerousGorilla22, won the $5,200 High Roller Opening Ceremony on August 23, taking home $153,400 and a Gold GOPC medal.
The 83-player field was stacked with familiar names, including CoinPoker ambassadors Patrick “Pads” Leonard, Benjamin “Bencb” Rolle, Seth Davies, and cash game pro DavyJones. Eighteen players made the money, among them illusory, Birnherd, HevadKhan, and Battle of Malta Online main event runner-up LelouchLamperouge.
Lonis has been active on CoinPoker since January 2026 and has cashed for over $250,000 in that time, playing around 40 events since a March software update and cashing roughly 23% of the time.
Ryan Riske Also Takes Down an Early High Roller
Ryan Riske, who plays as Gambl0r, won another of the GOPC’s opening High Rollers, scoring just under $58,000. Riske runs PokerWithRiske Coaching and is also an official CoinPoker ambassador.
Another familiar face in the field was Papo MC, otherwise known as Alejandro Lococo, who appears on PokerGO’s High Stakes Poker show starting August 25. Fellow CoinPoker ambassador Yoh Viral will join him at that table in Las Vegas, alongside Andrew Robl and Rick Salomon.
More Big Winners From the GOPC’s Opening Days
Jesse Lonis holds the biggest single win so far, but plenty of other players have already banked serious prizes.
iloveMyHand won the $530 Opening Ceremony for around $63,600, BlackJes took the $150 CoinMasters BITCOIN for over $52,500, and llililiQUI won the $122 CoinMasters Asia BITCOIN for around $34,000.
Scoobyloo claimed the $25 Mini CoinMasters BITCOIN for roughly $11,400, and Sinplicity won the $109 Let the Games Begin for about $24,000. Full daily results are available inside CoinPoker’s desktop and mobile app.

3-Bet Club Members Get Discounts on Early GOPC Flights
CoinPoker has switched on 3-Bet Club Tournament Discounts in the lobby, applying reduced buy-ins to select GOPC events, including the $55 Day 1 flights of the $1 million Global Main.
A flight of the $11 Global Mini Main was also discounted by 30% for members, and CoinPoker ambassador Mario Mosböck flagged the $109 CoinMasters DOGE event dropping to $89 for subscribers.
3-Bet Club runs on $35 monthly or $100 quarterly tiers, combining a Base Reward, Power Ups, an Action Multiplier, and the Tournament Discounts already live on the GOPC schedule.
CoinPoker Confirms Compensation After Early Technical Issues
GOPC tournaments hit brief connection issues on the night of August 23, and CoinPoker restarted all affected tournaments once the problem was resolved, confirming compensation for impacted players.
Anyone who ran into further issues after their tournament resumed was asked to contact [email protected] from their registered email so hand histories could be reviewed from the point of disruption.
