Paleza’s Soccer Rising: Building the Future of Girls’ Soccer, Together

Women’s soccer is experiencing unprecedented growth. Attendance records continue to be broken, sponsorship dollars are increasing, professional leagues are expanding, and global viewership numbers keep climbing. The momentum is real, and the future of the women’s game has never looked stronger.

But growth at the top does not automatically create opportunity at the grassroots level.

While the professional game gains visibility, many of the same barriers still exist for young players and local clubs. Families continue to face rising costs associated with participation. Community programs operate with limited budgets. Coaches and volunteers stretch resources to keep opportunities available. And too often, talented players leave the game simply because access becomes too expensive.

This is the gap that Soccer Rising aims to address.

Created by Paleza, Soccer Rising is an initiative built around a simple idea: if women’s soccer is growing, communities developing the next generation of players should grow too. The initiative uses merchandise as a funding model that allows clubs, organizations, and supporters to create meaningful financial impact without adding operational burden.

For clubs and organizations, the model removes traditional fundraising challenges. Instead of managing inventory, upfront costs, or complicated logistics, clubs partner with Soccer Rising to launch co-branded merchandise campaigns. Paleza handles design, production, and fulfillment while organizations focus on engaging their communities and working toward fundraising goals.

For supporters who may not be directly connected to a club, the opportunity to contribute remains accessible. Purchases from the Soccer Rising collection directly support girls’ soccer programs, creating unrestricted funding that can help cover everything from equipment and travel costs to program expansion.

The initiative launches in 2026 with a campaign photographed by professional soccer player Madison Murnin, featuring teammates who champion Soccer Rising on and off the field.

The long-term vision is ambitious: support 100 girls’ teams by 2031.

This timeline is intentional. In 2031, North America will host the FIFA Women’s World Cup, bringing even more attention to a sport already experiencing rapid acceleration. Soccer Rising’s mission is to ensure that increased visibility does not stop at elite levels but instead reaches local clubs, youth programs, and community organizations that sustain the sport year after year.

The future of women’s soccer will not be built by professional leagues alone. It will also be built by the coaches running training sessions after work, the parents coordinating carpools, the volunteers organizing tournaments, and the communities creating opportunities for girls to stay in the game.

Growth matters most when everyone gets to be part of it.
