Winfred Dormon sees Top Four tournament as key part of Dreams FC's preseason
Dreams FC head coach Winfred Dormon has described the upcoming Top Four tournament as an important step in the club’s preparations for the new Ghana Premier League season.Speaking to Dreams FC Media, Dormon said the competition will serve as a valuable dress rehearsal, giving his squad the opportunity to test themselves against some of the country’s strongest sides before the league begins.Unlike last season, when Dreams FC featured in the Nsenkyire Cup in Samreboi, the club has qualified for the prestigious Top Four tournament, where they will face Bibiani Gold Stars and Medeama among the participating teams.Dormon explained that while winning the competition would be welcome, the primary objective is to prepare the squad for the demands of the new campaign. The coach added that the tournament will also provide invaluable experience for several young players who are yet to feature in the Ghana Premier League. He believes exposing them to high-level opposition in a competitive environment will ease their transition into top-flight football, ensuring they are better equipped when the Premier League season gets underway.
