Chelsea return to action after a three-week international break, with Saturday’s match at Stamford Bridge their first outing in 22 days following a 3-0 defeat by Brentford.
Several players had fitness concerns heading into the game, including Palmer and Joao Pedro, who both missed international duty with England and Brazil respectively. The pair were pictured training at Cobham on Thursday.
Joao Pedro had also been working his way back from a knee injury that ruled him out of the Brentford defeat, while Caicedo and James have recently been sidelined with calf and hamstring problems.
Speaking ahead of the clash, Alonso has now confirmed that all five players have returned to training and are available for the Bournemouth clash.
“We have [spent time on] the recovery of some players.
“Yes. [Caicedo] is ready to go. We have the used the time with Moi to be back fit. He has been training well. He is okay to go.
“[Palmer, James and Joao Pedro have] trained the last week, some of them longer than others. Marco Palestra as well. Now they have trained well and are ready to go. They are key players. Until the next international break, hopefully they are going to be available. For tomorrow, they will be good.
“What is most important for Cole is that he is fully fit, enjoying his game and is OK. Against Brentford we could see he was struggling. For the next part.
Alonso also believes the international break came at the right time for Chelsea as they worked to recover from their injury problems.
