Bay FC defeated Racing Louisville 2-0 Friday night at Lynn Family Stadium behind a goal each from midfielder Kennedy Fuller and forward Karlie Lema. It was the club’s first win since May 3.
Fuller put Bay FC up 1-0 in the 21st minute. A crafty combination saw forward Racheal Kundananji find defender Maddie Moreau in space on the wing for a cross into the box to forward Karlie Lema, whose shot on frame was denied by the goalkeeper. Fuller tapped in the rebound on the follow-up, her first score with Bay FC in just her second match with the club.
Bay FC acquired Fuller from Angel City during the June break for the remainder of the 2026 season in exchange for $500,000 in intra-league transfer funds and $20,000 in allocation money. The 19-year-old recorded two goals and two assists in 11 appearances for the LA club in 2026 before the move. Fuller scored five goals and added three assists in her prior two full seasons with Angel City.
Lema would get her goal in the second half, pickpocketing goalkeeper Jordyn Bloomer outside the box, then dribbling the ball into the net for her second score in as many games.
