Sam Meza has rapidly emerged as one of the most promising talents in American soccer. Born in 2001 in Dallas, Texas, Meza spent her upbringing there and became a soccer star, gaining recognition on both local and international levels.
3. Club Career
Meza began playing soccer at the age of three. She began her career by playing for the Dallas Kicks and later joined Solar Soccer Club in 2017, following the establishment of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy. With this club, she gained initial recognition from the United States Youth National Team.

Meza first played for the United States Youth National Team at the U-15 level in 2015. She became a consistent presence on the team, participating in CONCACAF and Youth Women’s World Cups.

Meza has become a regular starter for Seattle Reign, starting nine matches and playing in thirteen. Due to her immediate impact and intense focus, Meza’s contract has been extended through the 2028 season.
10. Representing the United States
Meza’s first and second senior national team call-ups came in June, just four days apart. She started and played 87 minutes in the USWNT’s win over Ireland.
