Blacoe Soccer Queens have been crowned champions of the Western Regional Women’s Division One League after beating their opponents 4-2 on penalties following a 1-1 draw in the final.
The match remained closely fought throughout regulation time, with both sides showing determination but unable to find a winning goal.
The game was eventually decided by a penalty shootout, where Blacoe Soccer Queens converted four of their kicks to seal victory and lift the title.
The win caps a strong campaign for the team, who showed consistency on their way to becoming champions of the Western Region.
Blacoe Soccer Queens will now represent the region in the upcoming Regional Middle League, where they will compete for a place in the Women’s Premier League.
