Lommel SK have added French-Ghanaian winger Stredair Appuah on a one-season loan from Palermo FC.The 22-year-old joins the Belgian side immediately and arrives as an attacking option for head coach Lee Johnson.Appuah brings a strong development background, having passed through Fulham, Paris Saint-Germain and FC Nantes before signing for Palermo in 2024. He also arrives with recent match sharpness after spending last season on loan at Valenciennes FC, where he made 42 appearances and scored seven goals.Lommel say they had already seen enough of him during the early part of pre-season, when he trained with the group before the transfer was completed. That helped convince the club that he could fit quickly into the squad and add quality in the final third.Sporting director Jeffrey van As described Appuah as the kind of attacking reinforcement the club had been searching for, while the winger said Belgian football offers young players real opportunities to grow and play regularly. He also praised Lommels facilities and the welcome he received from the dressing room.
